I'd like to upgrade my three yo pc.

I primarily use it for gaming and realized it was time to upgrade when I could barely run the latest COD. It's also struggling to run civ at full settings.

My ideal budget is roughly 300 dollars, but if spending more is necessary to future-proof then I'll take that into consideration.

I'd try and look for a used i7 4770K or i7 4790K on Ebay.
