Hello, so recently I've had this odd problem on my computer where I'll leave my computer while it's on for some time and then when I come back I shake my mouse to wake up the monitor and what not. But instead nothing happens, screen is black and I noticed USB ports on the front aren't working. Pretty much the computer becomes a brick even though everything is running, so I just cut power from it and it reset it and all works fine. I'm just wondering why this is happening all the sudden and how to fix it. Thanks for any help I receive.

I've found similar issues with my friend, he is running Windows 10 and after his computer would come back from sleep mode it would run extremely slow and didn't respond well unless he restarted the PC it seemed to be a problem with IME { Intel Management Engine }

I've given him these instructions and now everything works fine:

Device Manager -> Intel Management Engine Interface -> Properties -> Power Management

Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

Feel free to do your own research.
