Hi Linus,

I have a pretty annoying Problem with my PC and since you’re the BEST Tech Person on YT I’ve decided to ask for Your Help since trying to solve it on my own and searching Help on Google didn’t solved anything for me. I just bought a Samsung 960 Evo 500 GB in order to use it as my Boot Drive and my other two HDDs (WD 2TB and Seagate 4TB, everything SATA3) as Storage Drives. After installing Win7 on the SSD I’ve noticed that my PC hangs for a While on the “Starting Windows” Screen before the GUI finally starts floating after like 30 seconds or so. When I take out the 4TB HDD out of my hot swap pocket and boot only with the SSD and other 2TB one, Windows boots in only couple of seconds, like intended. While booting with the 4 TB HDD every time just before the GUI starts floating (after aforementioned 30 seconds) I can hear a slight sound that the 4TB HDD makes, like it’s been activated and only then can SSD normally boot further.

When it comes to BIOS I’ve chosen the SSD as the primary boot device, even disabling any other choices but with no luck. AHCI enabled. Previous Boot Drive was the 2TB one, no Problem with that Drive what so ever (it and the SSD are connected with the same cables). Intel Rapid Start Technology is enabled. I have completely no Idea how to make my PC work properly with that HDD, please help!
