Sometimes when i boot my computer ill get 3 short beeps and ill try to boot it again and it will start right up no issues. Lately its been beeping 3 short times and ill try to boot it again and it will beep another 3 short times. im assuming its mayb my ram. i might have installed it in the wrong slot not to sure tho.

 

these are my specs : 

cpu : ryzen 5 1600

graphics card : gtx 1070

Mobo :  ASUS Prime X370-Pro

psu : i forgot wich 1 exactly but its like a 700+w

ram : corsair vengence lpx 8gb ddr4 3000

monitor: asus 144hz

Look in your mobo manual. What does 3 short beeps mean?

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

 

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.
