So I was switching my computer to another case which is tedious as hell, and I'm pretty sure I did everything right, because when I booted up the computer, all the lights on everything turned on and all the fans were spinning. However, when I plugged it into my monitor, it wouldn't display anything. I made sure the connections were solid, but to no avail. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

They should be on my profile.

It's better if you post them in the thread so users can refer quickly to them.

Does it fail to post or is there just no display output. There is a difference.

Also post your specs of your PC. I'm not going to click on your profile just to see what you have.

What I meant to ask was is the system booting into your OS? Just lights and fans operating doesn't necessarily mean it posts. Assuming it is booting, are you using a riser card to vertically mount the GPU? If you are maybe take that out first. If that doesn't work or you don't have the riser, do you have another GPU you can try?

It's not booting into any form of OS. I'm not using a riser card, and I dont have another GPU I can test out, sorry.

If you still suspect GPU, try the other slot on your motherboard.

The next things I would try if I were you would be to reseat the RAM and if that doesn't work, try the other set of RAM slots.

Next would be to pull off the CPU and inspect to make sure there isn't debris or thermal paste contamination on any pins or the socket.

Is your motherboard still under warranty?
