Hello Folks!

So, I almost bought the M65, but I noticced there is a red button on the side of it.

Since I have OCD (not that kind of cool ocd that seem to be going around lately) and press buttons a lot, I wanted to ask if there is a way, to disable the red button, like remove any function from it.

Thanks!

don't buy it even so, it's not nearly as accurate and amazing as the original M60, M65 has a lot of sensor issues

weapons have the tendency to be more precise then mice you know. ..

JK, can I have a link for the m60?

you're trolling if you're telling someone to spend their money on a laser sensor mouse instead of optical

no I'm not someone who gives 2 shit about optical, my laser is plenty accurate and I don't have problems with latency. If you do then so be it I don't care enough and a lot of people don't. Plus the only proper "optical" mouse is the deathadder and I'm not fond of the build quality, size, and software it comes with. Even so the deathadder isn't even fully optical.

Yes as a M65 owner I can tell you that you can disable the sniper button but to be fair I have never used it and it really isn't that easy to accidentally press it requires a significant amount of force also it's a little bit further than where you would normally hold your thumb.

To disable the 'Sniper button' you go to the mouse's software and click on '8' being the Sniper button and do the following. This can also be done to any other key on the mouse. You also can change it do do anything you want e.g. open a program, copy/paste, etc.

As to the mouse itself I'm extremely happy with it and never had any tracking issues whatsoever. Literally build really solid; doesn't feel cheap in any way possible.

no, by default they shouldn't do anything, but you can reprogram to do things

It's logitech vs corsair, anything that stands out, or does it even matter?

? abyssus is same sensor as old da and krait 4g is same sensor as da 2013. not sure what you mean da is the only "proper" optical anyways. optical > laser every time, if u want corsair u get m40 or m30

Guess the best way to go is with the one you like the look of the most. I doubt you will disappointed with either. As far as I've heard a lot of people love their Logitech mouses and Corsair guys love theirs too.
