Hello people first time posting on this site

I'd like to know whats wrong with my RAM-speeds

I noticed yesterday while i was looking at computer parts and wondering to myself what kinds of RAM i got, i looked it up and its Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb (x2) so i have quad slots of that which makes it 16GB it said the memory speed of these RAM sticks was 2666MHZ and then i looked at Speccy as you can see on the picture. They are only @ 1071 MHZ is there something wrong with my RAMs or the PC? Because that seems to me that somethings wrong...

Can someone please explain to me how this is working, maybe its just me having a brainfart or something. But please make it clear to me so i dont go and buy some new RAMs when i might not need to

Thank you

due to the DIMM modules are DDR (double data rate) reports will be half of registered speed. yours is 2133 as a default speed in your mobo UEFI.

if you have 2666 (reported 1333MHz), then you'll use the XMP profile to set the RAM speed as specified.

no you cant really screw it up, head to bios (while your PC is booting repeatedly press the button that says "bios" on the screen, usually f12 or delete), depending on your motherboard it might be under overclocking or something similar or just be sitting on utility screen, might be elsewhere though.. just look around, you want to look for something called "XMP" or "XMP PROFILES" and click the drop down menu and select your rated speed (2666) and hit save and restart your pc, you're now running the correct speed.if you get stuck in a boot loop for what ever reason, enter bios and go back to 2133mhz. if you cant enter bios after the change for what ever reason, shut down your PC and reset CMOS, it could just be a  button or you might need to touch something with metal (i used a screw driver) and reboot and itll be working.
