new interface

I want to buy new audio stuff  and now I need help to get the best interface. My setup so far is, Philips Fidelio X2 (to get 100% of its power) and the Shure SM 7B. I want to connect my headphones and mic  to the interface and I want effects coz It's funny to have it  

I was thinking about to buy the Alesis MultiMix 8 USB FX   I read the FAQ and everything here, but I still have no idea whats good or bad.

Since sound is subjective there is no definitive answer.

 

Interesting though that you choose a mixer that cheap with those headphones and mic. But Alesis is good stuff so....

Since Shure SM7B is quite low output microphone, you should put a imperative on finding an interface with preamps with lots of gain. I think it is a better option since you don't have any interface yet then buying an interface and something like Cloudlifter CL-1 to get additional gain. Any Audient device should provide more than enough gain for SM7B so I would go in that direction.
