So I've had my custom build PC for about 2 years now and just wondering if anyone knew what would be the best way to clean out all the dust and other crap out of the PC, I have seen Linus's video on clearing out the PC but I'm still not sure.

I have an Air Compressor out in my garage but again I'm not sure if i'll be able to use it to blow out the dust from the GPU ect

Please anyone let me knw

Thanks for the Help.

Just get a can of compressed air and blow in burst of sections of the computer. The graphics cards heat sinks and the cpu heat sink, top of the graphics card and and basically anywhere  that you see a build up of dust

Would I be able use a compressor since I would have to go out nd buy air to clean out my PC haha but yeah what about the top of the GPU where all the components nd stuff are

yeah use the compressor, will be fine.

I don't always have time to study, but when I do, I don't.

I go all commando... maybe more like a ghost buster. I usually get a hair dryer to blow all of the dust out and then use the vacuum cleaner to suck it all up and to clean things such as the CPU heatsink or fans, I use a spare makeup brush that my mum had. That usually does the job just fine :D Obviously an air compressor would be a better option and if you do it outside you wouldn't have to worry about the dust going everywhere xD

I'm  just afraid that the components on either the motherboard or gpu might break off

go full blast on heatsinks etc where the dust builds up...you want as much gone as you can.

then in places that might be damaged hold it back a bit so its not full pressure.

I don't think you would damage anything though...its not like you going to hold it right against a capacitor or anything. I would think you would need a very small tip to do damage....if its just a air blower tip that has a larger opening you should be totally fine.

just stick where the dust builds up.
