Help me please

I have a Intel Pentium G4500 and GTX 950 and 8 Gbs of Ram. i used to be able to run GTA V no problem, But now it stutters all the time and freezes a lot. And Fortnite will not load even on lowest settings so i was wondering, what is it that us causing my computer to not run as well? is it my GPU or CPU? ive tried optimizing both games and neither worked. I was also wondering if it is one of them should i upgrade it?

You'll probably need to find out which part is bottlenecking your computer. Try using a hardware monitoring program to see the load on your CPU and GPU when you open your games. Also, keep an eye on your temperatures for both. If you're thermal throttling that would cause stuttering and bad performance. Get back to us with temps and some performance numbers and we can help more. With the information you have provided there isn't much more we can tell you.
