Corsair h115i pro

I recently built my new system with a Corsair h115i pro, and when we did our first boot, it said there was a cpu fan issue. We tried almost everything from moving our cables around to different spots. We think it’s the 3 pin header, because my motherboard, the Asus RoG Strix gaming e does not have a 3pin connector, but we may be wrong. please help. We don’t know and couldn’t figure out the problem

Where did you plug in the pump 3 pin? (on the motherboard)

We plugged the 3 pin in on the 4 pin aio pump pins. Of course the 3pin only covered 3 of the pins

In case you want to know, I have the radiator up front with the ml fan’ ugly side ( the one with all the supports on one side) facing away from the radiator

Plug it into CPU fan header. Problem solved.

I will test and see how it goes. One question though, we are not supposed to use all of the pins of the cpu fan header since the cable is only 3 pin and the header is 4 pin right?
