yes you will be able to 

if it has a windows install and you're planning on moving windows installs like that then it will work but i recommend reinstalling windows

if you're just looking for data transfer, no format is needed, formatting will wipe all data off of the drive

 

use slot M2_1 ,refer to manual to see where that is
