RAM Problem?

Hi, I was playing Battlefield 1 when I suddenly got a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD. I ran the windows memory diagnostic tool and sure enough it reports that there's a hardware problem. Trying to join a game in Battlefield 1 consistently landed me with either a game crash or a BSOD. I reseated my RAM, 2 sticks of 8gb Corsair Vengeance LPX running at the advertised 3000 mhz, ran the tool again, and it still said there's an issue. My build is 2 years old and I've gotten MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSODs in the past (like a year ago) but this is the first time I've run memory diagnostic and gotten a hardware error message.

Is this definitely a RAM problem? If so, what do I need to do to fix it? I'm still under warranty so I can get replacements, but if I can avoid it that's preferable.

Thanks in advance and don't hesitate to ask for more information!

I’ve had that a few times. Once I swapped parts and bought more parts, I realized it was a cable people. One of the eps pins weren’t fully seated.

Had it some one other times but I ended up adjusting the oc a bit and don’t have it any more with any of my rigs.

I don'T hink it is a memory,  first if there is a software that you just installed. Try to uninstall it and play battlefield. I usually chkdsk my pc if there are some errors or bsod popping out.

I'll try replugging in some mobo cables and turning off the overclock to see if that works. Thanks for the help!

I don't think I've downloaded anything recently besides updates to games. I'll try chkdsk though.

No, it was just MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, not video memory.

The last coupe times it was uncorrectable error.

I uped my cpu core voltage a tad and it hasn’t happened since. Think I’ve had a few different errors come up and once power goes low enough and it’s unstable, it can blame a few things.

It could be a CPU error. I have a pretty high OC so maybe I need to stress test it again. Thanks for the advice!

It would be fine stress testing but for some reason, certain games would cause an use. Been fine the past two weeks though.
