Dropbox Folder Sync

Hi guys, 

 

I am really confused with how to use Dropbox. I have a photos folder, however when I right click and "move to Dropbox" it moves the folder from my computer. I would like to have the folder in the same location, but also sync with Dropbox. In other words, have the photos folder on my computer AND in my Dropbox, and they are in sync. 

 

Is there any way to do this?

Basically what Dropbox does is it allows you to have folders synced on your PC and the cloud. The only way to achieve this would be to create a folder on Dropbox, upload your files there using your web browser (or your mobile app), then choose to not sync that folder. You can enable selective syncing in the advanced settings.
