I have a NVIDIA gtx 760 about 4 years old and one day the fans just stop working i have updated all my drivers, i have tried MSI afterburner to change my fan speed manually but nothing works it just over heats. I installed the same gpu into a older dell PC and the fans worked the hole time i had it on. So i put the GPU back in my pc and nothing. Please help!!

Check the fan connector. Unplug it and plug it back in. If it doesn't work your fans or fan connector might have died.

You could try to replace the fans, or get a new gpu.

I have done that to and the fans cant be gone if they work in another PC.

You could also buy a new cooler for $30-$40 on ebay.

but the fans work in a 10 plus year old computer with a small power supply

That could very well be but power also comes through the PCIe slot and on that specific card it could be that the fans are wired to take power from there rather than the power connector. It could also be data connections in the slot that have been severed and therefore the fans don't know when to spin or maybe a sensor is out of whack or something. Really don't know what to tell you, contact the manufacturer if you can.
