imessage issue????

Not sure where to put this but here so don't hate on me if im wrong

 

Anyways heres whats going on:

I cant “send” or receive Imessages (by send it never says delivered)

This started happening about a week ago and this is what I have done to try and fix it:

Turn Imessages off and on

Turn Imessages off, reboot then on

Reset network settings

Take out sim card and put it back in

Done pretty much anything what the first five hits said when I googled how to fix imessages

 

Notes:

I didnt system reset my phone (and dont want to)

Im using a Iphone 5 running the most recent ver of  IOS 11

I do not have an apple ID linked to imessages, only my number

Haven't tried apple support YET,

 

Any help is appreciated
