Hi Everyone.

I am looking at replacing my Motherboard, CPU, and RAM as they are fairly outdated. I also just had the pci-e port fail on my current Motherboard.

I am looking at getting these three items and my big concern is if the RAM will work.

G.Skill F4-3200C16D-16GTRZ https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01MTDEYHU/

AMD Ryzen 5 2600X  https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07B428V2L/

MSI Performance Gaming AMD X470 https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07CF31C1Q/

Are these three parts going to play nicely? I am not to worried about the CPU and Motherboard but the ram is where I have the hardest time figuring things out.

Thanks.

Do you have a budget, current parts list and what your using it for? But anyways those parts will do just fine together but I think this motherboard is better

I built my current rig 5.5 years ago and didn't have to replace any parts.

Current Specs

storage crucial m4 sata 256gb & Seagate Baracude 3tb

CPU I5 3550 3.3-3.7 ghz

Ram 8gbx2 kingston 1800mhz ddr 3

mobo Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H (rev. 1.1)

Video Card Asus Radeon HD 7870

PSU 850 wat corsair.

dvd rw

Mainly i will be playing overwatch and league of legends and maybe some other games that I pick up on steam/humble bundle. That and watching youtube/netflix. I pretty much game every day.

I was planning on resuing the above parts except for the video card. I want to wait on buying a discrete card for now. Hoping that something at E3 will cause a drop in price or maybe some sale will happen at E3. Planning on getting a GTX 1060. I think the integrated will be enough to do overwatch at 30 fps which should last me a few month before I invest more money.

My budget is pretty much at that point. I didn't want to spend so much on ram but from what I read the ryzen really likes fast ram so the extra 100 bucks on faster chips is kind of a need is what I am thinking.
