I personally as a Vanu player am loving the new NS weapons. (NS-11c, NS-15m) I like the plasma weapons but I much prefer bullet weapons.

I am looking forward very much to the new hex system being tested ( http://www.planetside-universe.com/showthread.php?t=53647 ).

The new continent Hossin has no images/videos yet, but the new interlink facility sounds awesome from what clegg has said about it.

You guys should have looked into finding an outfit (which the game is very bad at helping you do) and getting involved in organized play. This game is one of the best games I've played in years mainly due to the teamwork factor. I know most games are better that way, but people do actually work together in an outfit.

I actually had an outfit and we used teamspeak and all but i just didn't feel the need to play the game after those 20 hours as i had Battlefield 3 to fill the FPS gap :/

Whatever floats your goat man. I used to play BF3 as my main FPS and even BFBC2 before it. I haven't stopped playing PS2 since beta, there is just so much more to the game than BF3.

Sadly my online gaming friends didn't really want to play Planteside 2 so i continued to play BF3 :(

You guys should have looked into finding an outfit (which the game is very bad at helping you do) and getting involved in organized play. This game is one of the best games I've played in years mainly due to the teamwork factor. I know most games are better that way, but people do actually work together in an outfit.

I always played in a group, it wasn't the organized play that I got bored of. It was attacking or defending the same bases over and over with no actual benefit to it apart from currency for vehicles and things, which I never seemed short on anyways. It just felt too pointless for me to keep going, maybe if you could conquer a continent and actually claim it for a period I would like that.

Note: It's not to say I did not like the game, I think it's a great game and I enjoyed the time I played it a lot.

Tried PS2 and hated it. I bet the game is fun but I didn't have a good time playing it despite joining a squad etc

I really like the game but it has the same problem a lot of free to plays have. "Oh you want that gun? Well you can buy it with real money or spend 1 week playing to get the cash to buy it." I mean I really enjoy the idea of the game but I feel like I need to spend money or really play a lot if I really want more guns, attachments, etc. I still play it once in a while, and at least the starting guns are pretty good.

P.S. Terran Republic all the way baby!

That will likely be enough for me to at least try it. I knew it was eventually coming but I did not know when and until it does I find the game dull. Good to know, thanks.
