PC to watch NFL online/stream xfinity cable

ckthao

I can't seem to find any information on this any where. I was wondering what pc specs is needed to stream the NFL games and xfinity cable? My current pc setup is AMD Ryzen 5, 3.2 ghz, AMD Raedon RX 580 with 8gb of ram. When I do stream xfinity it sometimes lags for a few seconds and then resumes. The quality isn't always HD either. It seems to be buffering a lot. Is there any minimum specs i should have to improve my viewing experience? my internet speed will vary anywhere between 70-120 mb depending the time of day. Any help will do. Thanks.

It may not be your PC, it may be how you are connecting to your internet connection. If you have a bad wireless connection, like a shoddy adapter, you will experience lag and skips. Try connecting via ethernet if at all possible.

Run some speed tests right when your experiencing interruptions, or just run a bunch. Sounds like an internet issue to me, definitely not hardware.
