yeah and over two years ago they were 550$ and 700$

so no I don't think any 1080 is worth the price they currently are

the prices havent changed more  then 20 for the 1080 and 80 for the ti

i see no reason why they wouldnt be worth it. no gpus are worth it atm because og the crypto miners but the prices are back to near msrp which they havent been close for months. so why wouldnt it be worth it to buy a ti for 80 more then when they were released

ok then , buy it . not my money so what do i care?

heck see if you can find any other 2 year old hardware for over msrp , could really spend quite a bit and get one very pricey machine if thats the theme.

im not trying to spend all the money i can, i just dont want to havve to upgrade it for a few years and the ti is the best card that is still being produced as far as i know and im fine with the price as long as thre is not a better option for 4k gaming that i am not aware of

1070 ti can easily handle 1080p or 1440p. Might even do 4k with medium settings in games. Medium high
