Multiple inputs on speakers...safe?

Hi guys, just need some clarification on the aforementioned title. I have the KRK Rokit5 G3 and it's presently connected to my Oppo HA-1 via Balanced XLR cables. I'd like to use my other DAC combo (iFi Micro iDSD BL) to connect it to the speakers via RCA to RCA cable, BUT I'd only be using either the HA-1 or the Micro iDSD BL at any one time, so is it safe? Yes, very noobish question, but hey, I ain't a speakers guy....

if a speaker only has one input, then it's probably because it doesn't support more than one input, if you try it, it could damage the electronics inside the speaker. However, if you leave one off while the other is on, then you may be able to get away with just turning off one and Turing on the other and not having to unplug and re plug your speakers every time.

Oh, my speakers have multiple inputs - Balanced XLR, Balance TRS and RCA. I'm using the XLR input now, I'd like to use the RCA, which I think should be okay, just wanna confirm it first. Below is a pic of the Rokit5 G2, which looks about the same as the G3.
