Which brand? If it doesn't have the additional 6 pin connector though(Think only the MSI Gaming X has it) you won't get much of an OC.

It also comes down to silicon lottery, can't tell you what your card will get, just gotta try it and find out.

Hi, just wondering does anybody know the best overclocking speeds for a 2gb Gigabyte GTX 1050??

I have an MSI LP gtx 1050 with no 6pin connectors In afterburner I can hit an overclock of +114 on the core clock and +123 on the memory clock

Nice, I can hit slightly better than my current clock, but it boosts to 1989Mhz on the core clock and ~4000 on the memory clock regardless, so I leave it at a lower base clock to maintain stability, plus this is all off a prebuilt PC's MOBO that was never really intended to include a graphics card. I'm cheap that way.

My GT 1030's overclock is from an optiplex 745 motherboard.

Ok, that makes sense, that is an entirely different card altogether, with different restrictions.
