I just got a new laptop with thunderbolt 3 and since I'll be between houses I'd like a dedicated graphics for the laptop when I'm home. But the enclosures are crazy expensive and I don't need anything fancy, is there PCI to thunderbolt adapters on sale?

Irish in Vancouver, what's new?

Pci to thunderbolt doesn't really exist because you can't power a graphics card through a thunderbolt 3 port, it has to come from an external source https://www.amazon.com/Laptop-External-PCI-Graphics-Card/dp/B00Q4VMLF6

Well that link helps me in no way, I understand i'd need external power the same way a normal GPU would but there should be no need for me to use PCI-e  inside the laptop when I could just use the thunderbolt and a PSU right?
