You chose "Something else" probably, which is why it is showing you the partition table.

Go back.  The option should be there.

It will auto-partition for you.

should i click to install third party thing it says something like turn off secure boot and asks for a password

The third party thing is to install things like flash and mp3 codecs and whatnot, doesn't hurt to turn it on.

Turning off secure boot is nice, but not required.

It is a bit of a hassle, as it will ask you to enter a password, and when your machine reboots, it will annoy you by saying things like "enter the third letter of your password" a couple of times over.  But this is only one time.

If you click erase , the listed below will be written to the disks. Otherwise, you will be able to make further changes manually

Warning: this will destory all data on any partitions you have removed as well as on the other partitions that are going to be formatted

The partition tables of the following devids are changed:

the following partitions are going to be formatted

partition#1 of SCSI1(0,0,0)(sda) at ESP

partition#2 of SCSI1(0,0,0)(sda) at ext4

partition#3 of SCSI1(0,0,0)(sda) at swap

Yes.

If you want to erase all data on the drive, then this is what you need to do.

The first partition is for your EFI firmware, so it will boot.

The second partition is your main partition where all of your data and the OS itself will live.

The third is swap.

Again, you will lose all of your data, I assume this is what you want.

When you click restart, it should tell you something like "remove installation media and press enter" in the console (text only).

So first click restart, then wait for that message, remove the pen drive, and press enter.

Did you have ubuntu installed before on this laptop at some point?

If none of them work, i guess the install stopped before the bootloader was written.

Try again with choosing the disable secure boot option.
