First proper build adivce

Hey,

 

I am currently in the process of planning my first proper build and was looking for some advice/recommendations.

 

In the past Ihave tinkered with systems I have bought second hand but i have have the cash to build one of my own. I do a lot of work in Photoshop and Lightroom as well as a large amount of gaming and a bit of 3d work. After spending numerous hours watching videos and reading forum posts I have come up with this list. I'm really hoping this build is going to last me a number of years!

i'd get the Z370-A or extreme4 instead of the Z370-E, otherwise it's fine.

All's good (havent looked into prices), but that PSU is really overkill. I mean, you could put two Vega 64 in CF with one of these PSUs.

You don't need that much of a PSU. Plus I would recommend a bigger SSD. You would be surprised by how fast those 250GB will be full. Especially since you're gaming a lot. Also keep in mind that in order for SSDs to work properly they need some free space, and bigger SSDs are generally faster. So go for 500GB, or if money is not a problem go for an even bigger one.

Looks good. I might choose a different PSU (650w or even 550w would be fine) but everything else looks ok.

Yeah, 550 is totally fine. You can go for 650 for peace of mind (since you will be overclocking).
