Not booting os

So my pc randomly froze when I was emulating animal crossing and I could move the mouse it's just nothing was working, so I held down the power button to turn it off. I turn it back on, the hp screen apears then it stays like that and if I press f9 (boot menu) or 10 (setup) it just come up with the storage capacity of my hard drive in the top left of my screen then blanks.

Seems like a bad drive to me. Whats in the boot menu? Does the drive show up in the bios?

Idk but the problems fixed now, all I did was replug the hdd and it worked though I'm heavily thinking of switching to an ssd cus this hdd is noisy af.
