pretty much what the title says atm im looking at a 500gb Samsung 960 evo or a 1tb Samsung 960 evo. I plan on putting my os and probably the 2 or 3 games I play the most if I have room maybe all my games and everything else i.e. movies, files, docs etc.. on my 4tb HDD and maybe get a sata SSD later on down the road for an in between drive for stuff I don't wanna use space on m.2 for but I want to run faster then the HDD can like maybe some other games that I don't play much

depends on your budget and type of computer. If you have a laptop and just have lots to spend, I would go with the 1tb m.2 version due to the lack of noticeable size increase and faster speeds. For a desktop, I would have a 500gb m.2 as a boot/programs drive with a cheaper SSD or Hard drive for larger storage/games

Not so much limited much on budget this is my build im just curious if id ever need that much on the m.2 and fyi its a desktop. my last computer I had a 120gb ssd and added a second 120gb later I had my os and all programs on them and only barely filled up one (that was before m.2) so doubleing it to 500 I feel would suffice but idk if games now are a lot more then they were then. I haven't had computer in almost 2 years as I lost mine in 2016 to Louisiana floods and im just now able to rebuild it.
