You'll want to sysprep your drive for the Windows drivers, and then use DDU to uninstall your GPU drivers. Then you can reuse your SSD and HDD.

systemrepare ? what does that do ?

sysprep essentially makes your drive ready to be used in another PC so it doesn't load incompatible drivers.

I'm pretty sure you can do it after building, but I personally would do it before building.

Uhh... Are you BUYING this 'new computer'?  Cause it's kinda a lateral upgrade compared to the old one. o.O  Like if you're going in full price on this 'new computer' it's going to be marginally better than the old one and not justify the costs of a whole new platform, CPU, and graphics card.  If it's a gift or handme down, I guess.  But for a purchase for upgrade this is a HUGE waste of money in terms of what you will spend vs how much better it'll perform.

You'd do a lot better to JUST put all the money into a new graphics card and keep the rest of the system.

If it's Windows 10, you don't need to do anything. Just move the drives and you should be good.

You sure ? @Crunchy Dragon thoughts ?

In my experience, you should always sysprep a drive before moving it to another system with the purpose of booting it. The easier way is to just reinstall, but if you have data you care about, sysprepping is usually the best way.

Might be a good idea to bind your Windows key to your Microsoft account to be safe:

I read the link and it said

Note

If you've already added your Microsoft account to your device, you'll see Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account on the Activation page

Which in my case it is, so i think im good, right ?

Yeah, if Windows is telling you it's all linked up, then it should be all set to go. Bob's your uncle.

Not sure what you meant with bob but tnx hahahha

Sorry, it's just kind of a phrase. "Bob's your uncle" is like "You're all set" or "Good to go".
