Okay so im gonna try to make my question as easy and understandable as possble...

You know on snapchat if you recorded a video and you place a photo on the video and you hold it with ur thumb that this picture stays on that frame of the video.

for example: (0n snapchat) I recorded a video of my friend doing something and i place a picture of him making a weird face on his face, if i hold the picture it will attatch to his face and it keeps following it

how do you do this on after effects

Its called motion tracking. I have used AE built in tracker and that works fine for easier shots. However for more advanced shots I have found Cinema 4D’s tracking tool to be really good for.
