Ok so sometimes my GPU suddenly drops it's usage to 0% and games and other programs freeze for a couple of seconds and then continue working perfectly, this keep cycling every couple of minutes

Does anyone know what could possibly be going on ?

Sometimes SLI can be a little trippy.

"Have you tried turning it off and back on again?"

that's the thing I play Armored Warfare sometimes which doesn't support SLI so I turn it off and it has been even before the problem showed it's ugly head..

Maybe that is the problem, Armored Warfare doesn't support SLI so it doesn't use both of your GPU's full potential. Making the GPU Usage strike 0% and freeze it for a few seconds. I recommend turning it on SLI, and then turning it off. Credit @DaJakerBoss

So this issue occurs both when SLI is enabled and disabled?

I hate to bring up hardware as well, but since you are dealing with a hardware link, have you tried removing and reinstalling each 1080 TI to the mboard and the SLI to the 1080 (I don't mean drivers, just unplugging and plugging back in)

ok so I did everything you asked, I even did a clean reinstall of my drivers, but still the problem persists, I haven't checked if it still happens with SLi enabled, I will soon, I am now doing a full scan of all the files on my computer (4 Tb...) to maybe find a virus or something I somehow got even though i only visit major websites like Facebook, youtube, etc...

any other idea's ?

Quick question. When this weird drop happens, does it also happen to the RAM and/or CPU usage?
