Its gone past ridiculous, so many people buying mining cards and 75% of them will loose money through a combination of power bills and the fluctuating price of cryptocurrency. The second hand buyers of the future will be happy when the market gets flooded with high performance 7970's that can do all they want with a 60% discount due to market saturation.

Its put me off AMD till unified memory comes out. Just going to crossfire an existing system rather than buy into this gen now.

Selfish miners. No interest in distributed computing when it was just for the benefit of others. Now that have a miniscule chance to make some money they're all over it. They should be ashamed.

Whats the worst is that it took these cards SO long to be released. I would have gladly spent the money a non reference 290, but not when its gone up in price ~200$ -.-
