Most likely shitty grounding/isolation to be blamed on mobo manufacturer. Graphics card is most likely spewing frequencies that the pre-amp is picking up than amplifier for you to hear. (coil whine can be heard by the ear without any headphones or speakers.)

Cheapest thing would be to try and move your graphics to a different slot further from audio components to see if that helps.

If not you may need to buy a dac/amp to eliminate the buzzing.

Electrical interference on your mobo is what your hearing your best bet and cheapest solution to this problem would be to purchase one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-BENGOO-External-Converter-Headset/dp/B072BMG9TB/ref=sr_1_6?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1524879940&sr=1-6&keywords=usb+sound+card

https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-External-Headphone-Microphone-Desktops/dp/B01N905VOY/ref=sr_1_4?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1524879940&sr=1-4&keywords=usb+sound+card

This will take the audio processing off your MOBO and should clear up your audio problems.

Cheers.

(Not a mod, just pointing out that...) The usual rule is not to double post, but given the quality of the replies in the first thread I don't blame you.

What we know is that when you out your GPU under load you get interference on the headphone output. Is this the front panel or back panel jack?

this means:

1. It isn't a grounding issue. If it was the buzzing would be there constantly.

2. It's not happening 'on the motherboard' as Tz so eloquently described. If it was then there would be a buzz under low load as well.

What is happening is that when you put the load on the GPU it draws extra power, both through the PCIe slot and connectors. This increases the size and strength of the magnetic field around the power cables and the GPU itself. If you are using the front panel jack, then you need to route the header cable away from any power cables. If you are using the back panel jack, then try the front panel (and vice versa).

if you still get the issue, then it's worth getting a cheap USB audio interface (the sabrent the or syba usb sound cards are all you need).

Welcome to the forum, eh. This 2016 checklist by @SSL helped me ferret out “the buzz”.

I was lucky - my PC was from a call centre.... and I suspect it was designed to have little interference. I got carried away and installed several inexpensive speakers in a daisy chain (in series). An ungodly buzz resulted.

I like shiny things, so I went the Schiit Audio route and am now collecting various, glorious silver boxes! DAC, headamp, RCA switches, and even an equalizer. Pshh, toys.
