Aura Sync Crashing

So I downloaded aura sync to turn lights on my mb but whenever I launch it it crashes, any one know why?

I got same issues, got a ryuo aio cooler which needs live dash live controller for the display options, and aura sync for other rgb options, and those two programs colide...

 

I have once been lucky and ran both programs, not simultaneously but first aura and then live dash, setting up lights and all... after first reboot, all was reset, and both live dash and aura wont start up.

A bit late to the party - is it crashing right when you click the icon and not opening at all?

I had the same issue and finally found a solution - uninstall, and on your program files (x86) Folder, there should be a "Lighting services" Folder. Delete that before reinstalling. I'm guessing it saves your presets, and if it somehow gets corrupted, crashes the program. If not deleted manually, the next installation just loads it back up and crashes you again.

I made a short video with that and other possible fixes that I saw reported while researching how to fix it (linked below), but that's the one that worked for me.
