Let's talk TCL 4k tv's (specifically refurbished)

Friends, I need your help

 

So I need a new tv. I have a budget of no more than $450 but I'm dead set on a 4k tv. TCL has some of the most affordable and highly rated budget tv's. Now I've personally seen the TCL s405 and it seems pretty nice (btw I have never owned a nice tv EVER). Now while that tv is currently $400 (and presumably my best bet), I recently discovered a refurbished TCL c807 for $425. I've heard great things about this tv's picture quality but not its viewing angles. Does any one own one and could they tell me if it's worth the buy? For context, I'd be playing it in my small apartment living room. I'd mostly be streaming content and watching movies.

I actually have one of those. I would partially recommend it, but in my TV there is a serious backlight problem that causes rings from the right side. I have also heard that other TCL TVs have very similar problems. So keep that in mind.

It looks very good otherwise though.
