2009-2012 Case

I'm currently working on a 2009-2011 theme build with parts I own from that era. I'm really looking for a case that's from around that time that accommodates a full ATX motherboard, has a side panel window, and is under 17 inches in length. Any suggestions or am I just better off buying a modern case? My budget is under $60.

Maybe something like this? I know it doesnt have a side panel but maybe you could do a little more resarch from these people...

Get a modern case. These old cases have abysmal airflow and pretty bad cable management.

I am planing a build like that as well. Would like to see an old case. It just has the special flair.

I remember my cousin having a gaming rig with a clear side panel with like a "spiral" on it.

Yeah I haven't seen many old cases that were that great. The best one I had experience with was an Antec 900. That was an amazing case with great airflow and cable management, but unfortunately it's too big and about double what I was wanting to spend lol.

if you want a case like that and have a little to spend get the Antec 900. You can still buy it and it came out around 2007 I think. I use to have one before I sold it as part of a build I made for my friend. It's on Newegg for about $100.

I just looked into Freegeeks and didn't even know about it. Thanks so much I'll look into it more.

It's wrong. Silverstone ft07 ft09 r still one of the best in term of airflow.

 

But i agree about cable management lol
