MODMIC 4.0 STatic

Go to solution Solved by AAJoe,

Hello Aleks, a simple USB DAC such as the one we sell here or a Syba CM-UAUD (same chipset) should work fine to solve this issue. It's just EMI from your motherboard and surrounding electronics.

You can use it just for the mic, turn it to ~40-60% volume, AGC on, and you'll be good to go.

My ModMic is getting a lot of static when I first got it, it was ok as I could have turned down discord and people wouldn't be able to hear it. However it's gotten worse, what should I actually buy to fix it, should I get a soundcard or one of those usb to mic converters. Currently, I have it plugged into my motherboard, and I have my headphones plugged into a Fiio E10K Dac.

Thanks in advance.
