So basically, I installed synapse 2.0 and replaced it with 3.0 because I figured newer is better, right? It's been a rough start so far, to put it simply. I can't stand how unintuitive the lighting program is - my DeathAdder Elite is impossible to program, and it seems like a lot of the effects aren't optimized for a mouse with only 2 addressable RGB zones.. That aside, I like the new paint job they've given it. The old Gunmetal/Machine Shop texture scheme was a little unprofessional.

But here's my biggest issue: I often use only one ear bud at a time, but then I put  both in to play some hardcore surviv.io. And I realized, after the 20 minutes it took me to uninstall everything Razer from my PC and start from scratch, installing Synapse 3, that my Razer Surround was... gone.

So naturally, I go to their website and go to download Razer Surround. Looks promising, even has its own icon so it must be a standalone program, right? Nope, it just reinstalled Synapse 2. So now I'm left wondering: Is there a way to get Synapse 3 running with Razer Surround? If not, I'd also like to know my options. Dolby Atmos for headphones seems to only work with compatible motherboards or USB headphones, so that seems out of the question. Help?

Also, about Dolby Atmos for Headphones: If I'm paying $15 for some software, why would I need to pay even more for compatible hardware? Maybe I'm missing something and there is a way to use it, after all, I've only tried using it on my XPS13 (It's the base model).
