1070 cannot be enabled on PC

Here is the problem, my PC stopped using my graphics card and is using the motherboard’s graphics card now. I turned the PC off and on multiple times and even switch the GPU into different slots. I remembered to check the hidden devices and there I found the 1070 but it wouldn’t let me use it. What am I supposed to do in this situation. All help from you guys is appreciated.

You what? How on earth would your PC stop using the graphics card and use the motherboard's graphics card with the monitor being connected to the graphics card. By that you meant that your screen turned black, then you connected your monitor to the motherboard's GPU port and then you had image again?

In the BIOS there should be an option to force the PCIe device (in this case, a graphics card) to be the display output.

frequently tap the 'delete' key or 'F2' key after turning on the system, until you reach a screen you normally dont see.

it could be anywhere in the bios. It should say 'prioritize display', something with similar meaning.

I just reseated the graphics card right now and when I turned on my computer, the fans stopped spinning. I made sure everything was plugged now. I'm pretty sure it is either dead or won't spin unless hot enough.
