Got a free E-Machines C700A computer...!

It runs a 700mhz Celeron, 128MB memory and 1MB integrated video memory from the integrated intel express family.

 

I am looking to do something with it, perhaps turn it in a Win ME machine because it comes with a key for that OS but has XP SP2 installed which it can barely run.

Need some help guys.

Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time...

 

Jokes aside, a Windows ME rig in 2018 would be amazing. I'm not sure where you would find a copy of Windows ME or a legitimate installation disk for it.

It is this one, mine seems to have upgraded ram.

Upgraded RAM, now there's a real bonus.

 

You should probably get some form of dedicated GPU for it as well, just gonna throw that out there.

I found this site when I searched for Windows ME installation media, I'm pretty sure it doesn't count as piracy because they're just giving out the installation media, not the product keys. https://winworldpc.com/product/windows-me/final
