So, I have had my ryzen system up and runnning for a few months now and I bought RAM that wasn't on the AMD QVL or my motherboards QVL. The kit of RAM i am speaking of is a 2x4gb kit of corsair vengance lpx at 3200mhz and i have sold it on ebay to buy a replacement which would be the same except it is 3000mhz. My motherboard is a Asus B350-F Strix and I was wondering if when buying RAM for Ryzen it has to be on both QVL's or just my mobos

For Ryzen, its best to get RAM on the QVL for the motherboard. This will ensure it will work at the speeds its validated for according to the information provided by the motherboard manufacture. Memory support has come a long way with Ryzen, but its still not a guarantee that it will work properly or at the rated speeds.

Yeah, I've got FlareX and they work great.  The only catch is that it might not run at the advertised speed if you haven't updated the BIOS.  That is, if you get a board that hasn't already been updated.
