Go to solution Solved by ZcanKal,

get a big HDD, you can pick up 2tb for $70 each.

Hi community

I have run out of storage space in my pc i currently have a 1tb hdd and its full and so needs replacing i am mainly using it for games and game files but i do have some documents and pictures

So my question is should i just get a bigger hdd or would it benefit me to get a large ssd for my games (i already have a 120gb ssd for my os and a few programs)

Thanks in advance

I've seen Seagate Barracudas going for closer to $60 each.

Haven't Seagate been a bit unreliable lately?

I've been running a 1Tb Barracuda for a couple years. I haven't heard any reports of Seagate drives going bad, especially not the Barracuda ones.

i have dead seagate drives here, laptop ones tho

How old are they? I've got Seagate drives from the IDE era that still work fine.

Interesting. I've heard the Barracuda drives were very reliable which was why I got one(also the WD Blue was more expensive at the time, but that's not important).
