Very long story ahead.

My pc was having this problem where randomly the monitor would stop receiving video input from my Vega 64.  The only solution i found was to reinsert the graphics card.  This worked well enough as I didn't have time to diagnose the problem.  However the latest time I had to reseat it, i kinda lost my balance and ended up touching my motherboard (asus ROG strix B350-F).  It made a beeping noise, and the RGB LED that is always on, when the computer is on stand by, turned off.  However as soon as i stopped touching it, everything went back to normal, I reseated the card and turned the computer on.

However now the Ethernet jack is borked.  Windows does not detect any hardware.  I tried to reinstall drivers or even use a wireless usb adapter and neither of those worked.  As a desperate hail mary, I wiped my OS drive from the BIOS, through ASUS secure wipe.  Now when i go to install windows, I get to the point where it will copy and extract all the folders.  The PC will then go to restart itself to continue installation.  But then the screen will go blank, and then the monitor will enter stand by mode.

When i manually restart the computer, the windows 10 logo will show up with the loading circle, but I can't get it past there.  I have tried to reinstall windows multiple times, always getting to this point.

I have no idea what to do.  Do i need a new Mobo?

Was your system turned off when you touched it? Or was it in sleep/standby/hibernate? If it was unplugged, it shouldn't have made a beep.

Also, assuming that you didn't have the PC on its side?

He may have just tripped it out. Like you would with a flathead screwdriver still not the best

thing to be doing
