I should start by saying I have a 1080ti and have been running it with an i5-4590.

These are the parts I have in my cart but I dont know if they go well enough together for gaming.

Someone had said to get 3000 RAM but I was also told there's no difference.

Someone had said the 8500 was going to bottleneck my 1080ti but I havnt noticed anything bad with the 4590 I have now so i'm confused by the statement.

on Intel anyway... the speed difference in RAM is at most 10%.... thats a VERY extreme case when RAM specifially is hit hard for whatever load.  Typically youll see a 1 - 3% performance delta.

Whole other story for Ryzen tho.  you want speed speed speed for that infinity fabric magic.
