Adopted Storage Help

Hello, Since I merged my 32GB SD Card with my internal storage as adopted storage, my total capacity went up to 30 gigs total and nothing more and even though I can record videos and take pictures as much as 30 gigs allow me as you can appreciate, I still am not able to install apps from Google play store and I still wonder where my 16 gigs of internal storage capacity is gone. While wondering I took a little search in settings and found this button and wonder if this will solve my problems. (hell of a screenshots,  sorry)

Yes, it's 2871 as in the year 2871. I traveled all this way, back in time, just to help you. And you thought your mama lied when she said you were special. -_-

Huawei P8 Lite 2017, in some countries and mine known as P9 lite 2017. PRA-LX1
