Not worth it at all for personal use. You'll run it a few times, find out how your system performs, then that's it. Not worth £23, especially considering all of the free benchmarking tools out there.

It's only worth buying if you're testing a lot of hardware frequently for things such as a Youtube channel or reviews. If you just want to measure performance increases from overclocking or something, use free benchmarking software.

How much do you bench? If you do a lot, for example, if you're getting into competitive overclocking, it'll be a time saver.

Hard to predict sales but I wouldn't want to pay full price. If you get it on steam, it does have achievements, but be aware some of them wont be easy.

I was able to pick up 3DMark, PCMark 8, and VRMark and a bunch of other software for $12 as part of the Humble Software Bundle for PC Lovers in February 2017. I'd suggest that you periodically check Humble Bundle until the Steam sale in June. 3DMark gets as low as $4.49 during the Steam summer and winter sales.

I got 3DMark for half price or in a bundle and I don't regret it, not sure I'd pay £23 for it as there are other alternatives out there. I use 3DMark to stress test my GPU and it works really well, I would expect Furmark to be in the same league though. 3DMark makes overclocking more interesting too because you can get your rank scores while you stress test your GPU.
