So I just recently built this pc, and I decided that I wanted to play some games on it since its a gaming computer (obviously). So of course I also wanted to play with my friends, so I plugged my headset in the "Mic in" port. My computer detected that I had plugged in a headset but when I tried to talk, no one could hear me, and I couldn't hear them. I have Astro A10's and they work perfectly on other devices such as my laptop, my Xbox, and Ps4. I tried recording through Voice recorder, but it didn't pick up anything. I checked my drivers to see if they were updated and they were. I also made sure that my headset was the default device and I also tried increasing the microphone boost, but no luck. The only wait I can get any sound is if I hit my headset, not hardly. Also I'm sure that my headset isn't muted. Anyone know what I should do? I'm thing about buying a 3.5mm female to two male audio splitter and seeing if that works.

Looks like you forgot something.

Oops, figured out what it is not showing up.  You must have used a dark text or something because it doesn't show up on my end using that dark background but upon logging out and system returns to white background, everything shows.

When looking at your original post, the screen is blank.  The post does not show.  I think it is because when I log in, I am using the "night theme" and not the "day theme (default) background.  When I log out, and it switches back to the light background (day theme), everything shows up.  To see what I'm talking about, just click on your user i.d. in the upper right of the screen and go down to "theme".  Just two choices there, the "day theme (default)" and the "night theme".  I use the night theme because it is easier on the eyes, not so bright a screen to look at.
