Too much choise

On ebay etc there are soo many different choices I want an older Cpu and mobo i5/i7 like a i5 720 or soo but there are soo many generations cpus etc. I dont know for what to search now. Any tips?

Honestly, you're probably not going to get much looking for used hardware like that. I've seen gaming rigs on Craigslist that are i7-920 based that people overcharge just because it has an i7.

This is in America, and I'm not sure what country you are in, but there are some options on refurbished computers that could get you what you want for the price you are looking for.
