You see me a lot here; so my taskbar is corrupt as all shit, I can use cortana under any circumstance, not even the app, can't use Edge (that isn't the problem really), can't pin or unpin apps or use the store, and some other shit I haven't found out that I can't do. Thing is, Windows is so broken, that even sfc /scannow stops at 16%. I don't know what went wrong but I'd appreciate some suggestions because I don't feel like reinstalling windows, and updating and having to reinstall some apps after that, like BF1 and that's a big fucking app to reinstall. Oh yeah, can't update either, corrupt too.

Can't see any immediate issues there. +1 for Radeon ReLive though. Are you able to access the taskbar settings through the Windows settings app? If so, enable the hide taskbar thing and see if that takes effect. If it doesn't work, you might be looking at a registry issue.

I found this:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Run those commands in order, it may seem stuck, but give it an hour each.

After that, run sfc /scannow

It should work.

PC:

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X | AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE | 32 GB RAM | Arch Linux

Laptop:

MacBook Pro 13" (2019) | Intel Core i5 8279U | 8 GB RAM | macOS

Server:

Intel Core i7 6700K | 16 GB RAM | 2 TB HDD | Debian Linux
