can any one tell me how can i on intel turbo boost technology on asus z370 motherboard. intel 8700.. it dont run on single core at 4.6

its only run 4.3 all core

It should be on by default.

Reboot the PC and mash the delete key until the UEFI menu loads. Then look at CPU settings and make sure it's on.

Note that you'll only see it kick in under specific workloads that are primarily single threaded.

It will depend on the load it's getting. Also, it's already working, since you are runing at 4.3 GHz, which is it's rated boost speed for all cores. Look in the BIOS for something called Multicore Enhancement or the likes and turn that on (though it usually is by default) if you want higher. It will increase the voltage, power consumption and heat output though.

It’s automatically bump up the clock speed according to the temperature and work load (specific workloads). Check the BIOS or UEFI!! I have a i7 6700K but it never reached the turbocharged clock speed or I never noticed that I am getting turbo speed.

i tried cinebench...but single core speed was 4.3...not 4.6.... and there is no different between asus multicore enhancement if it on or off.  like i run need for speed payback.... core speed was 4.3 all when multicore enhancement was off. thing is idk why this game taking 92% of my cpu...and getting some lag. @Sniperfox47 @tikker @Cookybiscuit @LIQUIDFOX00200

What game? It might be what @Cookybiscuit said if it's finnicky about single/multicore load it might see Cinebench + OS stuff as multicore and not boost up to 4.6.

Apparently you're not alone: https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/7t2gas/8700k_doesnt_seem_to_be_boosting_to_47ghz_for/

Need for speed payback has abnormally high CPU usage and stuttering. It's a thing. It's not a problem with your specific machine or CPU, it's just a general issue with the game. Found dozens of complaints with literally a 5 second google search.

What kind of fps are you getting for that CPU usage is the bigger problem.

Because it can? There's nothing bad about your CPU being used. Unless this is paired with bad or terrible FPS, your system is just doing its job. It also seems to be common with that game.

Need for speed payback is poorly optimised game! Just like some other games like Witcher 3. Heavy CPU usage is normal. Your system is doing what it can do!! That game is hogging your CPU for nothing!! It’s just not built correctly or not “Optimised” as experts says
