Hello, I use a Lenovo Laptop Z510. One of my drives (H Drive) is not accessible. I have tried formatting that drive but it gave an error. The corresponding screenshots have been attached. The drive contains no data at all.

My Laptop Specs are

  •      Windows 10 Home Single Language 64-bit (10.0, Build 16299)
  •      Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4702MQ CPU @ 2.20Ghz (8 CPUs)
  •      RAM - 8 GB
  •      Hard drive - 1 TB

Instead of attempting to format though windows explorer, type "disk management" on the windows search and take a screenshot.

Hi,

I agree with PokeCatz, open Windows Disk Management and take a screenshot.

Meanwhile, you can try using a third party partition software to format this drive. like minitool.

Okay. I have attached the disk management screenshot along with this post. I'll try using minitool now and update in a while.

Hi, This drive is showing a wrong capacity. If you connect it via USB you can try another USB port, or connect it to another computer.

If you tried them but with no success, in my opinion, you may need to check whether it has been physically damaged. Good Luck!
